Watching the high school “football” game with a friend.Titchie (the elementary school) Field Day, boys had lots of fun competing with their classmates.African Graffiti 🙂 The school has club soccer twice a week after school that both boys enjoy participating in.A favorite activity is to climb Loquat trees and eat the ripe fruit. Jaden, Josiah, & cousin TJ are all in this tree after school.We met some new friends that ride motor bikes, both boys thought this was pretty cool!Roses are very plentiful here in Kenya, I bought this bouquet for $3 at the local market.Mark with Zed, the mechanic who has helped fix and replace parts in our car, who also makes beautiful pottery in Maai Mahiu.Sykes monkeys continue to visit our windows and back yard every evening.Taking a walk near our house at sunset.Enjoying a pop in glass bottles with cousins outside the Super Duka, which is the local convenient market in Kijabe.Chameleons are fun to look for on RVA’s campus.Baby 3 horned chameleons are actually pretty cute and very hard to find!The roads down to Naomi’s Village are pretty rough….The market in Kijabe where we buy our produce.The Super Duka and the market is about a 15 minute walk from our house.Our trash pit which we burn weekly.The baboons make a weekly pass through to check for anything tasty from the trash pit.Donkeys are used often for transport, this is out our front window.The boys are enjoying having their own dog, Hartwin, which is a german name meaning “brave friend.” Another missionary family down the street just got his sister.
