We are the Sisler family: Mark, Liz, Jaden & Josiah!
We are moving our family to Des Moines, Iowa in June 2019 and partnering with Young Life to help introduce students to Jesus and help them grow in their faith.
We (Mark & Liz) met at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, got married after our Sophomore year in college in 1998 and graduated in 2000. Mark became the youth pastor at Western Springs Baptist Church (WSBC) in 2002. Jaden joined our family in December of 2006 and Josiah 2 years later in January of 2009. We worked with a ministry called Naomi’s Village in Kenya from July 2015-June 2019.

Your heart and passion for the kingdom of God is moving.
I took a mission trip to Kenya before I married Ken and left a part of
my heart there.

.Wow, what a great blog! We are praying for each of you, Mark, Liz, Jaden and Josiah. What fun to have baboons and monkeys in your yard AND the flowers/bushes are amazing.
